Venetian Phantom Mask Silver – Italian Made

Description

This mask is handsome indeed with its Silver and Black colouring. The Silver Leaf has been treated with an antique effect which shows off the hand applied relief border. There is a small decoupage detail of the ancient city incorporated in the Silver Leaf. Ideally this Masquerade Mask would be worn by a narrow to regular face. It is secured tot he face with ribbon ties.

Origin of this Mask

The Phantom is not an Italian Character, he originates from a French myth. Therefore the Phantom Mask was not traditional in Venice but was created on the request of Insignia Masks. This mask was literally designed on site in Venice with a penciled line on an undecorated full face mask. Now it can readily be found on the streets of Venice.
